By
using this website in any way, you are agreeing to the terms

Payment
Processing
Payments will be taken at the time of purchase and must be received
in full before an item can be dispatched. All payments, either
made online or taken over the telephone, are processed at the
time of purchase, using a secure online gateway. We will not
retain or store any of your financial information.
UK
& International Delivery
We
aim to dispatch all orders within 2 working days of purchase.
Orders travelling within the UK are normally delivered no later
than 14 days from date of purchase whereas international orders
are normally delivered no later than 28 days. Should you require
a more accurate estimation of delivery please contact us prior
to purchase as once an order has been despatched, delivery times
are set by our carriers and are out of our control.
Please
endeavour to provide an address where delivery can be accepted
between the hours of 9am to 5pm, Monday - Friday. If delivery
is attempted and is unsuccessful, a card will be left to notify
you of this. It is important that you reply to this as soon
as possible to arrange redelivery free of charge. Should an
item be returned to us after a failed delivery attempt, then
we will redespatch it, but may require an alternative address
to send it to.
Please
note that we cannot be held responsible for goods which have
been delivered to an inaccurate address provided by you at time
of purchase, or to an address which you no longer reside at
- this applies when the goods are delivered within 30 days from
the date of purchase.
Cancellations,
Returns & Refunds
Your
right to cancel starts the moment you place your order and is
extended for a further 28 days from the delivery date. Confirmation
of your cancellation should be sent by email, letter or fax.
In all cases we will require the goods to be returned to us
unused and still within the original packaging.
We
will refund the full cost of the item or if you are returning
the whole order, we will refund the full amount, including any
postage costs paid at the time of purchase. Refunds will be
made within 30 days of the date of cancellation and no admin
or restocking fees will be charged.
Please
note that once an item has been installed, it shall be considered
that the goods have been accepted and can no longer be returned.
Should you wish to exchange or upgrade a product once it has
already been installed, please contact us as we may be able
to help.
All
items specifically made to order are excluded and if your order
falls into this category, we will advise you at the time of
purchase.
Manufactures
Warranty
Upon
receipt, please examine the contents of each package to ensure
that everything is correct and that they have been received
in a satisfactory condition. In the unlikely event that a component
is missing or damaged, please contact us via email as soon as
possible so that we may resolve the issue straightaway.
All
of our ceiling airers are sold subject to our ten year manufactures
warranty and we guarantee that your product will remain defect
free for up to six years after the date of delivery. This covers
the installation and use of the product and we will replace
any component in the unlikely event that it has not arrived
in a satisfactory condition, or is deemed to be faulty and not
up to its intended purpose within ten years.
This
is extended to cover the structural condition and function of
the cast iron components, sash cord and wooden laths. This does
not cover misuse, accidental damage, wear and tear or cosmetic
defects which may have occurred after the delivery date. We
reserve the rite to request photographic evidence or that the
goods are returned to us for examination and in all cases proof
of purchase may be required.

International
Sales Tax & Customs Duty
Pulleymaid
LTD is a UK based company and all goods purchased from our website
shall be treated as being purchased from the UK, regardless
of the currency paid. All orders placed from outside the UK
are exclusive of VAT and we will only charge VAT where it is
necessary to do so.
All
orders are dispatched from the UK and depending on the destination
may be subject to customs charges, which are applied by your
local authority and are beyond our control. The amount you are
charged can vary based on several factors such as order value,
country or regional destination, and even down to the individual
placing the order.
These
charges are therefore impossible to predict and if you are unsure
how much, if anything, you will need to pay, then please check
with your local authority before placing your order.
In
all cases customs charges are NOT collected automatically and
you will receive a formal bill prior to delivery.
If
you have received a customs charge which you think is unreasonable,
you were not expecting, or you are unwilling to pay, then simply
decline to pay this and refuse delivery of the goods.
The
delivery will automatically be returned to us, and we will provide
you with a full refund in accordance with our returns policy.
Privacy
& Security
We
are committed to protecting your privacy and we will only use
the information that we collect about you lawfully. We will
not contact you or pass this information onto third party organisations
unless this is necessary to complete your order.
The
type of information we will require includes your full name,
the billing and delivery address, a contact phone number and
email address. We will never collect sensitive information about
you without your explicit consent or pass this information to
third party organisations for marketing purposes.
Any
personal information will be held securely in accordance with
our internal security policy and the law. We will ensure that
this is kept relevant and upto date and you can check the information
we hold about you at any time.
